# Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Fax for Agents, provided by JSB Holdings LLC, 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, United States. By creating an account or using an API key you agree to them.

## 1. The service

Fax for Agents is an API, a hosted MCP server, SDKs and a web dashboard for sending and receiving faxes. Transmission goes through a telephone carrier we contract with. We transmit what you send to the number you name. We do not read, edit or vouch for the content.

## 2. Your account

An organization is created by a person who signs in with a magic link, a passkey, GitHub or Google. That person is its owner and is responsible for every key, agent and member under it. Keys are shown once. Keep them secret. Anything sent with your key is sent by you.

## 3. Money

The service is prepaid. You top up a wallet by card, $10 at minimum. Each page is charged at the price on the pricing page on the day of the send. The quote names the rate table version. A send holds its quoted amount and captures only what the carrier confirmed. Failed sends are not charged. A partial delivery charges the confirmed pages. An unknown outcome holds the amount until we settle it after review. The full rule is on the refunds page and forms part of these terms. Prepaid balance is not interest-bearing. Unspent balance is refunded on request, by the method you paid with, less any amount owed.

The optional Agent workspace is a monthly subscription billed in advance through the card processor and cancellable from the dashboard at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.

## 4. What you may not send

The acceptable use policy is part of these terms. In short: no unsolicited faxes, no unlawful content, no protected health information, no sanctioned destinations, no attempt to reach another customer's data. We may suspend an organization that breaks it, with notice where the law allows, and refund unspent balance.

## 5. Delivery

We report what the carrier reports. A job marked delivered carries the carrier's evidence. We do not guarantee that a fax will be delivered, that it will be delivered within any time, or that the receiving machine printed it. You are responsible for checking the receipt before relying on a send, and for any deadline a fax is meant to meet.

## 6. Your content and our records

Documents stay yours. We keep them 30 days by default and received faxes 90 days, then delete them. You can delete earlier. We keep metadata and audit rows after that, because a receipt must still resolve. We process data on servers in the European Union and use the subprocessors listed on the security page.

## 7. Agents and automation

You may let software act under your keys. You are responsible for its actions. The approval and policy controls are offered to help you bound it, and a send that passes them is still your send.

## 8. Availability and changes

We aim for the service to be available and we publish a status page, but we give no uptime warranty. We may change the service, the prices and these terms. A price change is dated on the pricing page and never applies to a quote already issued. A change to these terms is announced by mail to the organization owner at least 14 days before it takes effect. The law can require sooner.

## 9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or loss caused by a fax that was not delivered or was delivered late. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

## 10. Termination

You can close your organization at any time from the dashboard or by writing to hello@faxforagents.com. We refund unspent balance and delete documents on the retention schedule. We can close an organization for a breach of these terms or for non-payment, with notice where the law allows.

## 11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, United States, and disputes go to its courts. A consumer whose local law gives them their own courts keeps that right.
