Where
Data is processed and stored on a server in Nuremberg, Germany, in the European Union, with encrypted backups in the EU. We do not promise a residency beyond that statement. Fax transmission itself goes through the carrier's network to the destination number.
Who else sees it
The subprocessors are listed on the security page with what each one sees. Hosting, DNS and edge, the carrier, payments, transactional mail, the support mailbox and backups. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
The dashboard uses one session cookie, which is necessary. This site sets no cookie before you consent. With consent it loads a first-party analytics script with session storage persistence and a cookieless page-view beacon. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first, and a failed region lookup counts as asked. The "Cookie settings" control in the footer reopens the choice.
Your rights
You can read, export, correct and delete your data. Documents and received faxes can be deleted from the dashboard or the API at once. For an export or an account deletion, write to hello@faxforagents.com from the owner's address and we answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Mail from us
We send transactional mail: sign-in links, receipts, failures, inbound notices, low balance and payment notices, approval requests, invites and API key notices. Each one says why you got it. The optional ones carry a settings link. We send no newsletter.
Children
The service is for businesses and developers and not for anyone under 18.
Changes
A change to this policy is dated at the top of the page. It is announced by mail to organization owners when it affects what we keep or who sees it.
